Crosby hopes to stay on at Iron

Scunthorpe United captain Andy Crosby has signalled his intention to stay at Glanford Park as a player next season.

The 35-year-old said tentative talks have already taken place about remaining on the Iron's playing staff.

He told BBC Radio Humberside: "I don't want to move on, i've got a family here who are settled and a little girl who is settled at school.

"I've no intentions to move anywhere else, I think this will be my last club and when it comes to an end who knows."

Crosby is co-assistant to manager Nigel Adkins along with Ian Baraclough and may see coaching at Glanford Park as part of his future.
