Argyle youngsters aim for semis
Plymouth Argyle's best young players are getting ready to face Premier League side Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup.

A victory for Argyle in Tuesday's game will see them make the semi-finals for the first time in 54 years.

Argyle have already knocked out three FA Premier Academy sides - Portsmouth, Birmingham City and Coventry - in previous rounds.

City have scored 10 times in the cup this season and were finalists in 2005.

Argyle's danger man is striker Jarred Stevens, who scored a hat-trick against Birmingham in an earlier round.

The game is the first ever FA Youth Cup quarter-final to be played at Home Park and kicks off at 1900 GMT.

Argyle's last visit to the semi-finals in 1954 saw them lose to Manchester United as the fledgling Busby Babes went on to win the trophy.
