Wotton travels to see specialist
Plymouth captain Paul Wotton has travelled to London to see a knee specialist to get an opinion on the operation that he needs.

Wotton damaged the cruciate and medial ligaments in his left knee during the 1-0 win against Hull last weekend.

Manager Ian Holloway told the club website: "We have looked at people here and how we are going to do it and nobody in this are has done one yet.

"It is a pretty upsetting situation where he has had to go to London."

Wotton had an MRI scan on Monday after being stretchered off.

Plymouth-born Wotton, who can play in midfield or defence, is a one-club man and has made 430 senior appearances for the Pilgrims.
