Peterhead have signed former Dundee Utd keeper Paul Jarvie on a one-year deal - the club's fourth summer signing.

Jarvie began his career at Tannadice, making 12 appearances before being released in 2005.

The 26-year-old, who also had spells in England and with Clyde, had been with Inverurie Locos in the Highland League.

Aberdonian Jarvie had harboured ambitions of a return to the senior game and Blue Toon boss Neale Cooper has handed the keeper his chance.
