Nottingham Forest legend Roy Keane is to bring his Sunderland side to the City Ground for a pre-season friendly.

The game will take place on Wednesday, July 30, and will also see another fans' favourite return to Trentside in Irish midfielder Andy Reid.

It is the first friendly announced by Forest, who have just won promotion to the Championship.

Keane played 154 times for Reds before joining Manchester United, while Reid left for Spurs after playing 160 games.
