Striker Jefferson Louis has left Mansfield Town after his short-term deal at Field Mill expired.

The 28-year-old forward joined the club in the January transfer window but was unable to help them avoid relegation from League Two.

Manager Paul Holland told the club's website: "The contract which he initially signed was agreed before I took over as manager.

"Jefferson now has other irons in the fire and I wish him well."
