Williams seals switch to Ipswich
Midfielder Gavin Williams has signed a permanent contract with Ipswich after joining the Championship club on loan from West Ham in November.
The 25-year-old Wales international has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal, with West Ham receiving a £300,000 fee.
He told the club website: "Ipswich are heading in the right direction.
"If the gaffer Joe Royle can bring in a couple of new players to strengthen the squad I don't see why we cannot start moving quickly up the league."
