Colchester United defender Phil Ifil has had his red card against Hull City overturned by the Football Association.

Ifil was sent off for a trip on striker Frazier Campbell during their 3-1 defeat at Layer Road on Tuesday.

U's manager Geraint Williams told BBC Essex: "We felt it was a bit harsh. He certainly caught and tripped him, but I didn't think it was violent conduct."

Ifil will now be available for the side's trip to Norwich City in the Championship on Easter Saturday.
