Hasselbaink loses red card appeal
Cardiff striker Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink has lost an appeal over his sending off in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Colchester.

Hasselbaink was sent off for a 62nd-minute challenge on keeper Dean Gerken, but Bluebirds boss Dave Jones said the incident was "appeal-able".

However, the Football Association of Wales upheld the red card at a hearing on Tuesday.

It means the Dutchman will miss the next three league games starting with the visit of Bristol City on Saturday.
