Burnley's Jensen signs new deal

Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen has signed a new two-year contract.

The 32-year-old was signed in 2003 from West Brom and is the club's longest-serving player, but his current deal was due to expire in the summer.

"My family's settled here, I like the club, and I didn't hesitate. They had faith in me five years ago and I took a gamble," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"I wanted to go on holiday and know where I stand when I come back. I'm really happy."

Jensen made 19 league starts during the 2007/8 season, sharing the goalkeeping duties with Hungarian Gabor Kiraly.
