The Gunners take their unbeaten record to Anfield on Sunday for a Premier League game with Liverpool before facing Championship strugglers Sheffield United in the Carling Cup on 31 October.
Should they emerge victorious from those two games, Wenger's squad will have the chance to rewrite Arsenal history when they face Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on 3 November.
But thoughts of records, or even matching the 'Invincible' season of 2003/04 when the Gunners became the first side since 1888-89 to go through a league season unbeaten, are being played down by Wenger.
"We will keep our feet on the ground and continue to enjoy what we do," said the Frenchman.
"People will say now that we will win the European Cup but we have to be realistic, we have no reason to get carried away.
"Let's prepare for the next game and try to win it."
