Waddock delight at Coventry trip
Aldershot manager Gary Waddock says the club are delighted with being drawn away at Coventry City in the first round of the Carling Cup.
The teams have not met since they were in the old Fourth Division in 1958.
Waddock told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "It's fantastic and we are already looking forward to it. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
"It's quite a gap to bridge but we've got a talented squad of players and we'll be ready when it comes round."
