Brentford 1-4 Bury

Bury withstood a second-half Brentford fightback to record a fine win.

Nicky Adams capitalised on a defensive mix-up to lash home on 13 minutes and Glynn Hurst added a second 90 seconds later from Andy Bishop's lay-off.

Bishop picked up a poor clearance by keeper Ben Hamer and lobbed home to make it 3-0 after only 37 minutes.

Glenn Poole made it 3-1 from the spot after Efe Sodje's handball and the Bees had further chances before Bishop sealed the win from Adams' pass.
