Halifax 1-0 Ebbsfleet

Halifax moved out of the Blue Square Premier relegation zone thanks to Simon Heslop's winner against Ebbsfleet.

Fleet felt they should have had a first-half penalty when Stacy Long's shot hit Anthony Griffin's hand.

The home side were then reduced to 10 men when Sacha Opinel was shown a red card for a foul on Griffin.

Halifax wasted a golden chance when Lance Cronin saved Jon Shaw's penalty but Danny Forrest set up Heslop to score the winner from outside the box.
