Urawa Red Diamonds took third place in the tournament after defeating Etoile Sportive du Sahel of Tunisia in a penalty shoot-out after the match had finished 2-2.

Washington was the star of the game for Urawa in his last match before he returns to Brazil, scoring both goals for the Japanese team as well as a brace in the penalty shoot-out.
