If coaching cricket is your dream job we've got everything you need to get started.

The England and Wales Cricket Board is implementing a new training structure throughout 2005 and 2006.

Each of the five levels takes about two years to complete, with a compulsory workshop between levels three and four.

Here's what's on offer - for more information, get in touch with the ECB.

ECB COACHING ASSISTANT

The first step on the coaching ladder, this course qualifies candidates to assist more qualified coaches in delivering aspects of coaching sessions, normally under direct supervision.

ECB COACH

A trained ECB coach will be qualified to prepare for, deliver and review coaching sessions.

ECB HEAD COACH

The next rung on the coaching ladder is the ECB Head Coach course.

Available from September 2006, this course trains candidates to plan, implement and revise annual training programmes.

ECB MASTER COACH

It takes a long time to reach the top of the pile, but if you decide to go this far you'll learn the skills required to play a key role in the future of English cricket.

Backed up by years of training and coaching, the Master Coach course trains candidates to design, implement and evaluate the process and outcome of long-term specialist coaching programmes.
